What Is SG Business Mart? How the Singapore Business Marketplace Works

Short answer: SG Business Mart is a Singapore-focused online marketplace where business owners list their businesses for sale or takeover, and buyers browse those listings and contact sellers directly. It is a marketplace, not a broker. Sellers pay a one-time fee per listing; browsing is free.
This page sets out the facts about how the platform works, based on our About, How It Works, Pricing and Terms of Service pages as of 14 October 2026.
What SG Business Mart is
SG Business Mart is an online venue that connects buyers and sellers of businesses in Singapore. Listings can show a business overview, category, location, asking price and seller-provided images. Besides businesses for sale, the marketplace also carries space and stall opportunities for rent, such as coffeeshop and food court stalls.
The company is based at 22 Sin Ming Lane, #06-76, Singapore 573969. It can be reached at [email protected] or +65 8086 7899.
Who it is for
- Business owners who want to list a business for sale or takeover themselves and deal with buyers directly.
- Buyers such as first-time owners, operators expanding by takeover and investors who want to browse Singapore businesses by category, location and asking price.
How listing a business works
- Create a seller account and add a clear overview, category, location, asking price and cover image.
- Choose what to share. The seller decides what appears publicly, and whether to share more detailed financial information with registered buyers. A seller can choose to show a broad revenue range publicly.
- Choose a package and publish. The listing can go live once payment and the required details are complete. Interested buyers then send enquiries.

How buyers find and contact sellers
Anyone can browse public listings without an account. A free buyer account lets you see financial details that a seller has chosen to share with registered buyers, and send an enquiry through the platform. After that, the buyer and seller continue the conversation directly; interested buyers typically reach sellers on WhatsApp. See buying a business on SG Business Mart.
